Programmer

This position requires a self-motivated, detail-oriented individual that can work in a fast paced, time sensitive, high pressure environment. Handling independent projects within the direct mail industry from receipt of data to output, including complex coding, data clean-up, database manipulation, and variable data mapping. Working extra hours as needed to meet our customers' deadlines.

Position Requirements
Minimum of Associates Degree in Information Systems required. B.S. in Computer Science preferred.
Candidate must have 3 to 5 years’ experience with the following tool set:

  • Visual Basic scripting knowledge is required. VBA, MS Access, .NET
  • SQL, Python, HTML5, java, PHP (other programming language can also be considered)

Knowledge of database files, ASCII, dbf, XML and other formats

  • Knowledge of the following is preferred:

BCC Mail Manager, Planet Press, Crystal Reports, Print shop Mail, FusionPro, Fox Pro, Filemaker

  • Familiar with different output engines: pdf, ijpds and ppml.
  • Basic graphic design experience is a plus.

Warehouse Specialist

Work Location: 672 Crescent St. Brockton, MA

Division/Department: Production

Reports to: Production Manager

Full-time  37.5 hours

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and manage a well-organized warehouse of both company-owned and client-owned inventory
  • Keep extremely detailed computerized inventory of quantities on hand
  • Manage all incoming arriving materials for production staging and general storage
  • Ensure that all equipment is functioning at its' highest level of efficiency
  • Collect overstock from production Areas for return to inventory daily
  • Return overrun to customer per request
  • Minor physical plant maintenance duties
  • Perform related duties as assigned by supervisor
  • Maintain compliance with all company policies and procedures

 

Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:

  • Certified to operate a fork lift and knowledgeable in safe operation of various pallet jacks and pallet wrap systems
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers
  • Computer proficiency (MS Office – Word, Excel and Outlook)
  • Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary customer service
  • Ability to work independently and to carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines, and standard accepted practices
  • High school diploma or GED required or Trade School
  • Associate degree preferred

Maintenance/Production Mechanic (2nd Shift)

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and trouble shoot high speed PC based production machinery that is used to process mail
  • Must have an electro-mechanical background
  • Perform preventative maintenance
  • Create and adhere to a preventative maintenance program
  • Ensure that all equipment is functioning at its' highest level of efficiency
  • Maintain inventory of machine parts
  • Ability to negotiate with outside vendors.
  • Minor physical plant maintenance duties
  • Perform related duties as assigned by supervisor
  • Maintain compliance with all company policies and procedures

 

Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers
  • Computer proficiency (MS Office – Word, Excel and Outlook)
  • Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary customer service

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Operate a High Speed Mailing Machine Processing Customers’ Daily Letters and Flats
  • Must have an familiarity with either Pitney Bowes of Neopost technologies
  • Should be knowledgeable in US Postal Rates and Mail Classifications
  • Prefer experience with chargeback systems for departmentalized accounting
  • Necessary to balance postage accounts funds to settle daily
  • Minor work station housekeeping duties
  • Perform related duties as assigned by supervisor
  • Maintain compliance with all company policies and procedures

 

Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers
  • Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary customer service
